Using Blackboard DCCCD 6 Instructor’s Edition, instructors can add assignments and create messages. Using the My Grades page, instructors can add multiple assignments and send the messages to them. Faculty can also add Global Virtual Faculty and staff to their course. The information for these instructors will be listed on the Faculty Information page. After adding a new profile, faculty can view the completed assignments in the Gradebook. However, students cannot see these messages within the content area.
One of the best features of Blackboard is its privacy settings. Students can choose to share their information with other Blackboard DCCCD users, or they can hide their information. All other students can see their course rosters and directories, but instructors can view their email address and EMPL ID#.
